Species at Risk Surveys
Several wildlife and plant species, throughout Canada have been identified as “Species at Risk” under the Species at Risk Act 2002, c. 29. Our team of experienced biologists has the ability to conduct field assessments, provide assessment reports and monitor construction activities in sensitive areas, throughout western Canada.
How does the “Species at Risk” legislation affect you?
If you are planning a project in an area where “Species at Risk” are a concern, it could affect the timing, as well as the location of your project, resulting in delays and higher costs.
How can EnviroSearch help you?
EnviroSearch works closely with government biologists and legislators to ensure we have complete and up to date information. We can conduct research during the planning stages of your project, to determine the possible existence of “Species at Risk” and provide you with the following:
- field assessments to qualify research data
- GPS locations
- timing constraints
- setback distances
This information allows you to make informed decisions about your project timing and location.
