Margot Ferguson, B.Sc., P.Geoph.
Margot has over 26 years of experience in the oil and gas and environmental consulting sectors, and has been with EnviroSearch since its inception in 1993 moving through the technical ranks into leadership roles in business development, client services, and senior management. Her project experience has ranged from preparing NEB Pipeline Applications, Conservation & Reclamation (C&R) Plans, environmental protection plans, and to regulatory applications for the Sahtu Land and Water Board (NT) in support of seismic and drilling projects in the central Mackenzie Valley including extensive community consultation, gathering traditional knowledge, and developing two (2) aboriginal partnerships/JVs in the Sahtu Region. Margot has conducted Environmental Assessments and Audits on First Nations Lands in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), pre-disturbance assessments, environmental audits, and reclamation assessments. As a senior project manager, she is focused on delivering high quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Ailsa Le May, M.B.A., P.Geo.
Ailsa has more than 25 years of professional experience in the geosciences industry. She has conducted and managed hundreds of environmental assessment and remediation projects throughout Western Canada and Northern California. Ailsa has led small and large teams throughout her career, consistently achieving company and client project management awards. She has worked on contaminated site investigations, construction management, sediment characterization, remedial and maintenance dredging, cut‐off wall installation, underground storage tank removals, Phase I, II, and III investigations, landfill audits, feasibility studies, risk‐ based corrective action plans, corrective and remedial action plans, and remediation system design, installation and operation. Ailsa has excelled at being able to properly assess projects, work with technical and business teams to develop appropriate strategies, communicate with stakeholders, execute projects within tight timelines and budgets, and mentor junior staff. She has maintained an exceptional safety record and upholds the highest standards for safe working environments. As an owner of EnviroSearch, Ms. Le May will ensure all customer expectations are met or exceeded.
