Senior expertise belongs on every project. That is the principle the firm was built on.
EnviroSearch Ltd. is a privately held environmental consulting firm operating throughout Western and Northern Canada. We work primarily with oil and gas companies, municipalities, industrial operators, and landowners who need practical, experienced guidance on contaminated sites, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection.
What distinguishes us from larger firms is straightforward: our most experienced people are directly involved in every project we take on. There are no layers of project overhead, no junior staff substituted for senior expertise, and no cookie-cutter approaches applied to problems that require genuine professional judgment. No project is the same, and neither is our approach.
We are small by design. That means you get faster responses, direct access to decision-makers, and the flexibility to adapt when your project needs it. We treat your money like it is our own — making the right technical decisions, avoiding unnecessary work, and delivering strong value at a competitive price.
EnviroSearch Ltd. is jointly owned and operated by Margot Ferguson and Ailsa Le May, both senior environmental professionals with deep roots in Western Canada’s environmental industry. That shared ownership creates accountability that runs through everything we do.
We serve clients across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories, with experience across a broad range of environments and regulatory jurisdictions — from urban brownfields to remote northern project sites.
“Senior-level technical and scientific expertise on every project — regardless of size. Innovative, personalized solutions. We treat your money like it’s our own.”
